FIELD: visual representation.
SUBSTANCE: methods for visual representation of images of physical racks with goods for analysis of the rack contents. In the frame, the vertical and horizontal lines of a physical rack do not have to be parallel to the borders of the image on the frame. To compare the obtained frontal image of the rack with the planogram, the orthographic projection is used, that is, the superposition of the received frontal image of the rack on the planogram to detect differences. Thus, it will be easy to detect discrepancies between the image of the physical shelves of the rack and the shelves of the rack on the planogram, since the real image of the rack will turn out to be undistorted.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of building an image of a physical rack in frontal orientation based on the shooting of the rack when the camera moves along an arbitrary trajectory by the rack.
