FIELD: smoking devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates, without limitation, to an apparatus for generating an inhaled medium, to a cartridge for use in the apparatus for generating an inhaled medium, to a tobacco container, and to a set. Apparatus for generating an inhaled medium comprises a container for retaining a first aerosol-forming material; a heater for vaporising the first aerosol-forming material retained in the container; a chamber for retaining a second aerosol-forming material, wherein the inner surfaces of the chamber contain a BPA and BPS-free copolyester plastic; and an outlet. The apparatus is made so as to generate an inhaled medium during use, wherein said medium passes through the outlet. The inhaled medium contains components of the first and second aerosol-forming materials in the form of vapour and/or aerosol.
EFFECT: reduction in the level of leaching of the plastic components into the tobacco and reduction in the losses of nicotine from the tobacco.
