SUBSTANCE: method provides for burning of dry herbage. Spring preventive burning of natural herbages of taiga lands in conditions of the cryolithozone is carried out before the beginning of the fire season after snow cover melting, at the end of April, with a period providing pasture ripeness of natural herbages, from June 10 to June 25, in the current year, in a tillering phase, and the beginning of yield into a tube, when a height of plants reaches 15-25 cm, with mowing ripeness of hay use, from July 1 to July 20, in a flowering phase of natural herbages, for 20 days. Autumn preventive burning of natural herbages of taiga lands, after the fire season, is carried out from the beginning of stable rainy weather at the end of September, with pasture ripeness of natural herbages, coming the next year from June 10 to June 25, when a height of plants reaches 15-25 cm, in a tillering phase, and the beginning of yield into a tube of natural herbs, with mowing ripeness of hay use, from July 1 to July 20, in a flowering phase of natural herbages, for 20 days.

EFFECT: method provides preventive burning of natural herbages of taiga lands in conditions of the cryolithozone in terms.
