FIELD: lifting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lifting sunken submarines in terms of ensuring the application of external lifting forces to the hull of the lifted object. Proposed is a method for ensuring local strength of the outer hull of sunken submarines, consisting in filling the inter-hull space (main ballast tanks) of said submarines in the areas of contact with the claws of large-sized gripping apparatus with a hardening filler supplied via material pipelines in liquefied form. As the filler hardens, it prevents the outer hull of the submarine from being crumpled, transferring and distributing the load directly onto a more crumpling-resistant strong hull.
EFFECT: cost efficiency due to the simplification of the technology and reduction in the labour intensity of reinforcing the outer hull of a sunken submarine underwater.
