FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting of sunken ships. Device for lifting a sunken ship by draining compartments comprises appliance to pump compressed air into sunken ship hull and siphon-like squeezing pipe and locking mechanism. Pipe consists of a light frame installed inside the blown compartment and which is a guide for movement of the buoyancy unit with a side slot. Corrugated casing is attached to the pipe. Casing forms, as the floatation unit at blowing of the compartment under its own weight downwards together with the “water-air” medium interface plane, the impermeable part of the squeezing pipe. Locking mechanism clamps the flexible link with the buoy connected to the buoyancy unit, and is triggered when the sunken ship emerges, fixing the length of the pipe and the value of the blown volume, which is controlled by the length of the flexible link remaining outside.
EFFECT: providing safe lifting of sunken object due to prevention of destruction of blown compartments by compressed air expanding during surfacing and possibility of controlling value of lift generated during blowing of compartments.
