FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for monitoring of intra-abdominal pressure (hereinafter – IAP), using IAPPEE software. To a urine catheter of a patient with a surgical pathology of the abdominal cavity, a developed hardware-software complex is attached, including: a valve for clamping of the ureter tube, a load cell connected to a controller, which is connected to a personal computer with a wire, using USB port, for data exchange between the load cell, the controller, and the valve and analysis of received data via IAPPEE software. After launching a program and activating equipment of the hardware-software complex, IAP is measured during 3 cycles with an interval of 30 seconds. The program outputs the result on a personal computer screen in a digital form, in mm Hg, next, depending on the obtained result, the program defines a degree of severity of an intra-abdominal hypertension syndrome and helps to make a decision on a repeated surgery.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of IAP measurement, possibility of its continuous monitoring, accessibility and simplicity of conductance with high sensitivity and specificity.
