FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to surgery and coloproctology, and can be used for prediction of developing complications of intestinal stoma. To predict according to the declared method, the patient’s age is determined, the presence or absence of: abdominal obesity, diabetes mellitus, chronic non-infectious colitis, anaemia, hypoproteinemia, preliminary marking of the stoma formation place on the anterior abdominal wall. A history of neoadjuvant chemotherapy is taken into account. During operation pay attention to development of peritonitis. Besides, a microcirculation index in the wall of the stoma intestine and intra-abdominal hypertension are determined. After each parameter is assigned a certain numerical value and value of prediction coefficient is determined by declared mathematical formula. If coefficient is 5 and more, developing complications of intestinal stoma is predicted.
EFFECT: method is reliable, promotes minimizing the consequences of developing complications of intestinal stoma.
