FIELD: production of hollow carbon fibres (CF).
SUBSTANCE: carbon fibres are produced for manufacturing capillaries, membranes, filters, separators for battery compartments and composite materials used when working in aggressive environments and at elevated temperatures of the working area. In accordance with the claimed method for producing hollow carbon fibres, 0.6-1.2% by weight of ultra-long carbon nanotubes are introduced into isotropic petroleum pitch, heated and formed into carbon fibre, oxidized in air at a temperature of 200-300°C with production on the surface of an infusible crust due to the process of oxidative crosslinking carbonized by heating in an inert atmosphere of nitrogen, argon or helium at a temperature of 2200°C.
EFFECT: development of a simplified and accelerated method for producing hollow hydrocarbons.
