FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: 10 kV switchgear consists of head section switches, load switches with spring drives, and an uninterruptible power supply unit. According to the invention, load switches of 10 kV switchgear (hereinafter – SG) input and normally disconnected load switches of outgoing lines are introduced. All load switches ae equipped with relay protection with DC current cutoff and automatic switching blocking with prohibition on activation during the operation of relay protection, and head section switches are equipped with relay protection with current cutoff and automatic repeat activation with time delay. Spring drives of all load switches are disconnected in a current-free pause according to signals from voltage sensors on 10 kV voltage transformers. In case of failure of the drive of the load switch of the outgoing line and in the absence of a blocking pulse, the load switch of 10 kV SG input is disconnected, and automatic repeat activation will activate the head section switch after time delay and will restore operational voltage.

EFFECT: provision of automatic shutdown of load switches.
