FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to devices supplying and distributing electric power with the rated voltage of 6 or 10 kV of the industrial frequency of 50 or 60 Hz. A high-voltage switchgear and control gear (SWCG) is designed so that it may be used as a separate switchgear and maintained at one or two sides; it comprises two high-voltage vacuum or thyristor contactors (VC) with their potential remote control by switching on/off and the microprocessor protection and protection of the main circuits bus bars in the form of an arc barrier and relief valves. It has two high-voltage inputs: one from the network of 10(6) kV, the other from a high-voltage frequency converter or high-voltage soft starter (SS), and one outgoing circuit - to a high-voltage electric motor. At that electric input circuits from the network of 10(6) kV, input from FC or SS and outgoing circuit are equipped with a disconnect switch with visual break and earthing device each. Between VCs there is an electrical and/or mechanical interlocking device intended to prevent their simultaneous switching on and VCs in the input circuit from FC or SS are made so that they may be controlled by their switching on/off by FC or SS automatic equipment directly bypassing automatic equipment of SWCG.

EFFECT: reduced number of switchgear and control gears up to one set required to receive electric energy from two sources with different electrical performance and identical power in regard to the current rate for its further transmission to one consumer.
