SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine and is intended for the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases in young farm animals, in particular suckling piglets in group pens. To do this, on the 13-15th day of life, the temperature is measured in piglets. If 2-4 piglets with an elevated temperature of more than 37.9°C are found in the group, then all piglets in the group, regardless of temperature, are injected once into the neck area with Tulatrin at a dose of 1 ml per 40 kg of animal body weight for 14-17 day, and weaning of all piglets is carried out on the 21-24th day of their life.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the effectiveness of the treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases in suckling piglets in group housing.
