FIELD: animal husbandry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pig breeding and veterinary medicine. A method for preventing post-weaning stress in piglets consists in intramuscular administration of Sedimine to piglets from the age of 5 days in a dose of 2 ml per head on the 5th and 15th days of life, and then in a dose of 3 ml per head on the 35th and 45th days of life. Also, the feed additive Abiotonic is administered orally to piglets from 3 days of age with milk during the entire suckling period at a dose of 1 ml/kg of body weight per day and then mixed with chilled feed until 90 days of age at a dose of 6 ml/kg of feed.
EFFECT: invention makes up for the deficiency of macro- and microelements, prevents the development of oxidative stress, increases the productivity of piglets after weaning.
