FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to methods for treating mastitis in cats and dogs. To do this, use the drug of the following composition, % by weight: dimethyl sulfoxide - 70.0; N,N-dimethylaminopropylamide of myristic acid - 0.1; distilled water, sterile - 29.9. The drug is used externally 1-2 times a day until recovery at the rate of 3-5 ml per 1 dm2 of the surface of the affected tissue.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the therapeutic effect and an expansion of the arsenal of drugs for the treatment of mastitis in pets.
