SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric drive for tethered unmanned aerial vehicles. A device for using recuperation energy to power the engines of a tethered high-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a DC power supply, a power cable, a storage battery, a load, a ground power source, Schottky diodes located on the frame of the aircraft, a flight controller and an engine speed controller. The DC power supply and the storage battery are mounted on the frame of the aircraft. Moreover, the DC power supply is connected to a ground power source by means of a power cable. The output of the DC power supply is connected to the anode of the first Schottky diode, the cathode of which is connected to the input of the flight controller, the cathode of the second Schottky diode and the first arm of the engine speed controller. The anode of the second Schottky diode is connected to the cathode of the fourth Schottky diode and the positive battery terminal. The output of the flight controller is connected to the second arm of the engine speed controller, the third arm of which is connected to the anode of the third Schottky diode, the cathode of which is connected to the load and the anode of the fourth Schottky diode.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the recuperation of the electric drive and safety of the units supplying the engines.
