FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply method of high-altitude tethered platform onboard equipment based on unmanned aircraft. For the tethered platform on-board equipment power supply with the help of a winch with a rope-cable placed on its drum, energy is transmitted, in the form of combustible gas, from a tank located on the ground, by means of a compressor along a gas hose on board the platform to a gas-piston engine of an on-board gas-piston power plant with an alternating current generator, which converts it via rectifier into direct current, and then to on-board voltage distributor.
EFFECT: simplification of the structure (architecture) of the ground power source and ensuring electrical safety of the personnel servicing the tethered unmanned aerial vehicle.
