SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic hybrid laser-arc multi-pass welding with a Y-shaped groove of butt-welded edges in a shielding gas environment with a filler wire with offset from the zenith and the use of technology of scanning the laser beam in the annular seams of rotary joints of steel pipelines. A method of automatic multi-pass hybrid laser-arc welding in shielding gas with an offset from the zenith and using the technique of scanning a laser beam with filling Y bevels of welded grooves of rotary butt annular joints is carried out, including the supply of a filler wire and simultaneous exposure to continuous laser radiation and electric arc with the formation of a common weld pool.
EFFECT: obtaining a defect-free rotary annular welded joint of steel pipelines with slotted Y bevel with blunting of welded edges.
