FIELD: explosive automation.
SUBSTANCE: initiating device comprises a housing 2, in which two mutually perpendicular working volumes are designed, separated by an indestructible barrier 3 and located on opposite sides of the cutting plane drawn through the indestructible barrier 3. One working volume, coaxial with the body 2, houses a transmitting device 1, designed as a shock wave generator, and in the other, there is a receiving device 4 perpendicular to the axis of the body 2, designed as a single hollow tubular element with a length greater than the diameter of the body, or more of the same elements located in the same secant plane along axes parallel or intersecting at an angle and fixed in the connectors 5, connected to the triggered device 6.
EFFECT: reliable transmission of the initiating pulse through an indestructible barrier, increasing the safety and reliability of the operation of the device by reducing the mass of explosives used.
