SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressure sources and can be used in displacement, actuation, separation systems, in which the generated gas is used as a pressure source, in particular, for actuating the aerodynamic surfaces of aircraft. In the gas generator, which consists of a housing and located in series initiating unit, detonating unit, gas generating charge and destructible membrane installed in the output part of the housing, an electric detonator (ED) is used as an initiating unit, the housing is made of a glass and a cover, which is pressed against the nut by a nut. glass through the sealing elements and in which blind ropes are made with the formation between them and the ED of an indestructible barrier, and the detonating unit is a distributor installed on the cover from the side of the blind holes, made of an inert material with channels consisting of grooves and holes filled with explosive ( BB), while the inlet sections of the channels are placed coaxially with the blind channels of the cover, which are also filled with explosives with preload caps and are part of the detonating unit, while the detonating unit and the gas generating charge are separated by a gap and a perforated partition, the gas generating charge is placed in a glass with perforation shaped bottom, with the formation of a free volume between the bottom and the destructible membrane.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of device operation time.
