FIELD: controlling access to a protected area.
SUBSTANCE: combined complex contains: a central control point (CCUP); a person access checkpoint system; a vehicle access checkpoint system; mobile checkpoint system; a checkpoint system for management, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the Emergency Control Ministry and VIPs; a system of basic equipment for checkpoints; a communication system including radio communication channels and communication channels using wired and/or fibre optic communication lines; backup power system. The person access checkpoint system contains: subsystems for automatic control and access control by electronic access card or by personal access code; a subsystem for detecting metal objects, including weapons, explosives and radioactive materials; a group of biometric identification subsystems; a group of video cameras to provide an analysis of the behavioural characteristics of a person when identifying him/her by biodynamics. Identification subsystems can be used as biometric identification subsystems: by fingerprint, by face, by iris, by hand geometry or vein pattern, by handwritten password or signature, by voice and by biodynamics. The system of the transport access checkpoint contains subsystems for the inspection of the bottom of the vehicle; subsystems for automatic scanning of vehicles; equipment for detecting metal objects, including weapons, explosives and radioactive materials; biometric identification equipment. The communication system includes radio communication channels and communication channels using wired and/or fiber optic communication lines. All systems and subsystems are included in a single information space for managing and displaying information, which provides the possibility of information exchange for systems, subsystems and technical means with the MCC with updating the local databases of all controllers that control access points in real time through the use of radio channels and communication lines.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of tools for more comprehensive automation of access control and management processes and increasing the reliability of physical protection of critical facilities while reducing the number of human resources.
