SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tools for monitoring the horizontal and vertical planes and measuring the angles of deviation from horizontal and vertical, and can be used in the construction industry and at home. The level contains a visual indicator fixed in a rectangular hollow body in the form of an arrow plumb line, placed in a protective frame, having a transparent cover on the front side and an annular control and measuring scale, the circle area of which is divided into four equal sectors by two diametrical lines intersecting at right angles with an intersection point, coinciding with the horizontal axis, on which the arrow plumb line is radially suspended. At the same time, the protective frame of the visual indicator is made as a separate block in the form of a square frame, having four narrow edges connected along the perimeter on one side with an opaque cover, on the other front side with a transparent cover, whereas a cut-out is made in a rectangular hollow case on one side of its wide edge symmetrically along the length of the case, with a seat for secure placement of the visual indicator protective frame in it. At the same time, the connection of the visual indicator protective frame with the seat of the rectangular hollow body is made detachable and configured for removal of the visual indicator protective frame and installing it in another replaceable case, which differs only in the length of the rectangular hollow body.
