FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tools for control of horizontality and verticality of planes and measurement of small angles of deviation from horizontality and verticality and may be used in construction industry and under domestic conditions. A level comprising a visual indicator in the form of a needle indicator placed in a protective frame and suspended radially as capable of free rotation on a horizontal axis, the protective frame at the frontal side is transparent, equipped with a circular control and measurement scale, along the axis of which there is a horizontal axis of the needle indicator arranged, at the same time the protective frame is fixed on a rectangular hollow body, having two parallel arranged narrow working faces, connected by two parallel arranged wide faces, differing by the fact that the protective frame is made in the form of a rectangular board, fixed in the cavity of the rectangular body with tight fit between narrow working faces, the circular control and measurement scale and one end of the horizontal axis are fixed on the rectangular board of the protective frame, the second end of the horizontal axis is fixed on the transparent cover of the protective frame.
EFFECT: simplified design, technology of manufacturing and increased operational reliability.
