FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine and describes a transdermal therapeutic system (hereinafter – TTS) for transdermal injection of guanfacine, containing a guanfacine-containing layered structure, wherein the specified guanfacine-containing layered structure contains: A) substrate; and B) a guanfacine-containing layer. Moreover, TTS contains at least one silicone polymer. The guanfacine-containing layer contains at least one silicone polymer in amount of 30-97%. The guanfacine-containing layer additionally contains at least two auxiliary substances selected from a group consisting of dispersing agents, permeability enhancers, and solubilizers, where each of at least two auxiliary substances is present in amount of 0.5-10% by weight per the total weight of the guanfacine-containing layer. The group of inventions also discloses the use of TTS in a method for the treatment of a human patient aged 6-17 years and the use of TTS in a method for the treatment of hypertension or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and/or as additional therapy to stimulator drugs in a human patient aged 6-17 years.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of TTS for transdermal injection of guanfacine.
