FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a transdermal device comprising porous microparticles that are capable of containing nicotine as an active ingredient. The device is used as a medicine, in particular, in case of smoking refusal. The invention also relates to a method for manufacture of a transdermal device comprising porous microparticles carrying the active ingredient.
EFFECT: device exhibits improved cohesive properties, in particular reduces the risk of leakage, and reduces the amount of matrix remaining on the skin after patch removal.
