FIELD: oil and gas.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling tools and can be used in side drilling core samplers for sampling rocks from the walls of oil and gas wells. An annular drill bit contains a body with a connecting thread at one end and with diamond-carbide cutters at the end of the body. Diamond-hard-alloy cutters in the form of cylindrical plates are soldered at the end in grooves at an angle of 18-22° to the axis of the body of the bit, made in the form of a hollow truncated cone with an angle of 5-8°, lifting the generatrix of the cone to the axis of the body of the bit. The body of the bit is made with an inner diameter D₁ and an outer diameter D. Between the indicated cutters, a sample is made with different radii: on the inner diameter D₁ with a radius R₁ and on the outer diameter D with a radius R₂, and the radius R₁ is selected from the range of 5-10 mm, and R₂ from the range of 10-30 mm. The completed sample has the form of segments with a depth h increasing towards the periphery, which varies in the range from 2.5 to 7 mm.

EFFECT: efficiency of the rock drilling process is increased due to the intensive process of bit flushing from cuttings by constructively changing the shape of the flushing channels.
