FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to control the energy consumption of a solar module in maximum power mode. The technical result consists in increasing the speed of determining the point of maximum power and increasing the amount of electricity supplied by the solar module to the load, and is achieved by measuring the output current and voltage of the solar module, its temperature and illumination level, one-time manual setting of the solar module type, reading from a pre-compiled database of energy, temperature and brightness parameters of the used solar module and setting the maximum power point of the solar module using a controlled converter.
EFFECT: increase in the speed of determining the point of maximum power and increase in the amount of electricity supplied by the solar module to the load.
