FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: medical device intended for a combined effect on the cervical-collar zone of a human. The device contains a flexible elastically deformable base with the possibility of close fitting to the neck-collar zone, the base made in the form of an elastic layer, whereon thermoelectric modules (TEMs) are fixed, the working junctions of TEMs are in thermal contact with a highly thermally conductive gel layer containing a temperature sensor, and the supporting junctions are in thermal contact with an air radiator. The air radiator is made hollow with the possibility of placing a pre-cooled (if the procedure begins with cooling the neck-collar zone) external source of a removable heat accumulator (for example, an all-metal accumulator). The elastic layer comprises ferromagnetic needle elements positioned between each adjacent pair of TEMs. Therein the magnetic effect in the device is created with the help of wires encircling each of the ferromagnetic needle elements with the opposite direction of winding from neighbouring ferromagnetic needle elements that feed the corresponding TEM. Attachment of the TEM and ferromagnetic needle elements on the elastic layer is done with account for the exclusion of the impact on the region of the spinal column. Elastically deformable base from the side where the TEM support junctions are located over entire area thereof is brought into close mechanical contact with a frill connected to the charger by a tube.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of procedures and reduction of time required for the device to reach the operation mode due to increasing the degree of stabilization of the temperature in the support junctions of the TEM at the required level at the initial moment of time.
