FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: medical device with combined effect on the cervical-collar zone of a human. The device contains a flexible resiliently deformable base with the possibility of closely fitting to the neck-collar zone, made in the form of an elastic layer containing needle elements. Therein thermoelectric modules (TEMs) are fixed on the elastic layer, the working junctions of TEMs are in thermal contact with a highly thermally conductive gel layer containing a temperature sensor, wherein the support junctions are in thermal contact with an air radiator. The thermoelectric modules are connected to a power supply connected to a programmable control unit, which, in turn, is connected to a temperature sensor and a digital display, the needle elements located between each adjacent pair of thermoelectric modules and coupled at the base with piezoelectric elements are made ferromagnetic and are surrounded by wires with the opposite direction windings, the wires supplying power to the corresponding thermoelectric module. Therein attachment of thermoelectric modules and ferromagnetic needle elements on the elastic layer is made accounting for the exclusion of impact on the region of spinal column. The air radiator is made hollow with the possibility of placing therein a removable heat accumulator pre-cooled by an external source (if the procedure begins with cooling the neck-collar zone), the elastically deformable base from the side where the support junctions of the thermoelectric modules are located is brought over its entire area into close mechanical contact with a frill connected with a charger by a tube.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of procedures and reduction of the time required for the device to reach the operation mode by increasing the degree of stabilization of the temperature of the support junctions of the TEM at the required level at the initial moment of time.
