FIELD: audio processing.

SUBSTANCE: method and system for supplement of an audio clip to include data suitable for determination of identification information of an evaluating person. The method includes: reception of an audio clip; reception of an identifier of an evaluating person, to which the audio clip should be transmitted, while the identifier is represented with a unique bit sequence; generation, based on the unique bit sequence, of an identification watermark related to the evaluating person and to be included in the audio clip to generate of a supplemented audio signal by means of changing the audio signal so that it has a predetermined energy level at each of at least two different frequency levels to indicate the presence of a given bit of the unique bit sequence related to the evaluating person in the supplemented audio clip; and transmission of the supplemented audio clip to an electronic device related to the evaluating person.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of detection of identification watermarks in audio signals of records, which are part of the intellectual property of organizations related to a virtual assistant application.
