SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network access control systems. Method includes generating a network certificate for a network host device for accessing a local area network, generating, for a network certificate associated with a network host device, an authorization tag indicating a set of actions that the network host device is allowed to perform in the local area network, and transmitting data indicative of the association between the network certificate and the authorization tag associated with the network host device to the local area network authentication server, as a result of which the authentication server allows the network host device to access the local network and perform a set of actions in it.

EFFECT: enabling detection of security threats associated with authorized electronic devices.
