FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems controlled by computing devices. Modular controller consists of a set of service and function modules that provide control, diagnostics and control of the automation object. At the same time on the side walls of each module there are two contacts: magnetic and steel, providing the transfer of supply voltage from the module to the module. Magnetic contact is made of neodymium coated with nickel, and the steel contact is also covered with nickel, with the mutual arrangement of the contacts selected so that when installing adjacent modules on the DIN rail, the magnetic contact of one module attracts the steel contact of the other. Inside function modules, the magnetic contacts are attached to the printed circuit board. On the two end walls of the modules there are terminal blocks intended for connection of control and control circuits from the automation object. On the side walls of the modules are pairs of optical elements – a receiver-emitter for signal exchange between the input-output modules. Monitoring of the operation of the relay issuing the command is carried out using the second group of contacts of the relay. All functional modules have a galvanic isolation of the input circuits.

EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in improving technical characteristics of modular controller.
