FIELD: manufacturing zone plates.

SUBSTANCE: block is formed from glass plates of two grades having different density and dielectric constant, but the same area and volume, placing plates of the first and second grade alternately. On both sides of the block there are stacks of plates made of layers of glass of the first grade. The block is placed inside the container, which is installed in the forming unit inside the thermal unit, which provides heating of the block of plates by a distributed temperature field, which leads to sequential extrusion of the glass melt of the lower layers through the die of the forming unit. The resulting "bulb" is stretched by means of a pulling mechanism and drawn to obtain a circular blank, which is compressed while maintaining the geometric shape to achieve the required geometric dimensions of the last zone. The drawn blank is cut into individual plates and subjected to machining.

EFFECT: ensuring production of zone plates that form monochromatic and polychromatic X-ray beams in a very wide energy range and retain their properties under the action of powerful beams of synchrotron radiation.
