FIELD: personal hygiene methods and products.

SUBSTANCE: method of oral care including: 1) providing a kit of reactional components, comprising: at least one substrate selected from a group consisting of compound esters or glycerides or compound esters with a determined structure or acetylated saccharides selected from acetylated mono- di- and polysaccharides; a source of peroxy group oxygen and an enzymatic catalyst having a perhydrolytic activity, representing a hydride protein with SEQ ID NO: 425-430, 438-459, 461-464, 466, 467 or 479; 2) combination of the said reaction components under suitable reaction conditions and preparing thereby at least one peracid; and 3) bringing the oral cavity surface in contact with at least one peracid due to which the oral cavity surface receives a peracid-based beneficial effect such as clarifying, teeth whitening, decontamination, decolorization, deodorization, reduction or elimination of biofilm or a combination thereof. Product for hygiene of oral cavity comprises the said enzymatic catalyst, substrate and source of peroxy group oxygen and also a carrier vehicle acceptable for the mouth. A composition is proposed comprising the said enzymatic catalyst, substrate and source of peroxy group oxygen that when mixed produce a peracid for treatment or prevention of dental caries, gingivitis, oral candidiasis or periodontitis.

EFFECT: stimulation of perhydrolytic activity on the surface of oral cavity.
