SUBSTANCE: method for peroxy acid production includes reaction of esters of carboxylic acids and inorganic peroxide in the presence of a polypeptide possessing with perhydroliticactivity and having an amino acid sequence, with at least 90% identity in relation to the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 8, provided that the amino acid residue associated with the C-terminal part of the catalytic histidine is not glutamic acid. The specified polypeptide is also used to create a system for peroxycarboxylic acid production and delivery, a composition for personal hygiene, a composition for linen care and in a personal hygiene means.
