FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: digging device (2) for digging out root crops (4) contains at least one digger (6) with a front, relative to the direction (8) of digging, a capture area (10) and a rear, relative to the direction (8) of digging, an area (12) of ejection root crops (4) and serving as a support, connected with the frame (14) of the digging device (2) and in the process of operation driven by it in the direction (8) of digging out the bracket (16) of the diggers, made with the possibility of lateral, relative to the direction (8) of digging, movement relative to the frame (14) of the digging device (2) from the initial position to the offset position. The device additionally comprises a guide assembly (18) designed to direct the movement of the hoist bracket (16) in such a way that when the hoist bracket (16) moves from the initial position to the displacement position, the grip area (10) moves laterally further than the (12) ejection area. Harvesting machine (34), in particular for harvesting root crops, contains a drive unit and the above-described digging device (2).
EFFECT: increased productivity in the digging process with a larger load.
