SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to an alkali metal salt of 2-(N-3,4-dimethylpyrazole)succinic acid, as well as to a fertilizer based on calcium ammonium nitrate (KAS) - a mineral fertilizer containing an alkali metal salt of 2-(N-3,4- dimethylpyrazole) succinic acid. An alkali metal salt of 2-(N-3,4-dimethylpyrazole)succinic acid is proposed. Fertilizer based on calcium ammonium nitrate is characterized by the fact that it contains calcium ammonium nitrate (KAS) - a mineral fertilizer, as well as a nitrification inhibitor, which is used as an alkali metal salt of 2-(N-3,4-dimethylpyrazole)succinic acid in the amount 100-10000 wt. hours/million based on (KAS)-mineral fertilizer without water.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to obtain a mixture containing KAS fertilizer, which leads to a low loss of nitrification inhibitor during storage and application, to obtain an effective nitrification inhibitor for KAS, which has low volatility during storage and use in soil.
