FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a fertilizer composition containing (i) at least one nitrogen-containing fertilizer (F) and (ii) a nitrification inhibitor (N) selected from the group consisting of 2-(3,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) )succinic acid and/or 2-(4,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)succinic acid, its ammonium salt, its diammonium salt and its potassium salt, includes the following steps: a) melting of at least one nitrogen-containing fertilizer (F) and/or providing a melt of at least one nitrogen-containing fertilizer (F), b) adding a nitrification inhibitor (N) to the nitrogen-containing fertilizer melt (F), and c) solidifying of a melt of nitrogen-containing fertilizer (F) containing a nitrification inhibitor (N), in which the residence time of the nitrification inhibitor (N) in the melt of nitrogen-containing fertilizer (F) is not more than 5 minutes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous fertilizer composition with long-term storage stability.
