SUBSTANCE: systems for migration from physical to virtual machines (P2V). Data of the source terminal is transmitted to the target terminal and its transmission takes place in full during the first cycle, and all data changed during the first cycle is collected as a result of monitoring. In each subsequent cycle, the data changed in the previous cycle, that is, invalid data, is transmitted. After several cycles have been completed, when the final amount of invalid data falls below a predetermined threshold, the cycles are terminated and the shutdown phase begins. After the last cycle is completed, the virtual machine on the target terminal and the program in it are started, and the program on the source terminal stops working.
EFFECT: increase of the accuracy of data consistency when migrating data from physical machines to virtual ones.
