SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thrust reverser (1) containing a fixed (2) and a movable (3) structure restricting the path of the air flow, a shutter (4) containing a single wall (40) having an opening on its surface, and containing a structure (43), which stiffens the shutter (4) and has an acoustic function, while the shutter (4) is movable for: in the position of a straight jet, placing the wall (40) along the acoustic section (31) of the movable structure (3) and enabling air circulation flow through the air flow path, wherein the acoustic section (31) forms with the structure (43) of said wall (40) an acoustic resonator, and, in the reverse jet position, the placement of the wall (40) to divert the air flow passing through the air flow path, and allowing passage through the wall (40) and through the airflow path of a portion of the airflow discharged by the shutter (4).
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction of the load on the thrust reverser in flight.
