SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to drive an electric drive with a self-braking asynchronous electric motor with a shifting rotor. the non-reversible control circuit of a self-braking asynchronous electric motor with a shifting squirrel-cage rotor contains a non-reversible magnetic starter. It also contains a magnetic starter, which consists of a contactor with its coil and three thermal protection relays built into it. Also, the non-reversible automatic control circuit contains a switch, fuses, buttons in the control circuit. In the control circuit, in series with the contactor coil, a time relay is installed with a delay in the operation time of a single-pole contactor connected to the linear wire of the electric motor.

EFFECT: improving the operational characteristics, namely, reducing the starting currents of the stator winding, increasing the intensity of starts, operational reliability and durability of the electric motors.
