The controller has a power source, and its output is connected to the coil of the switching contactor, the contacts of which in position I connect the motor windings to a delta circuit when the power factor and / or current of the electric motor increases with a time delay, and in position II the motor windings are connected to the star circuit when decreasing power factor and / or current.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the energy efficiency of the electric drive and its reliability.
