FIELD: acoustic measurements.
SUBSTANCE: long-term stationary measurements of variations in acoustic pressure and vibrational velocity in a reservoir, the station can be used for passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) of marine animals (MA) and fish and to assess the impact of anthropogenic noise of various origins on marine organisms. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the station includes a combined receiver (CR) and a recorder connected by a cable line. The CR includes 5 receiving acoustic channels (a pair of hydrophones and three orthogonal electrodynamic vibrational velocity receivers) and 6 orientation channels - a 3-axis accelerometer and a gyroscope. For analog-to-digital conversion of acoustic channels, a multi-channel synchronous 24-bit sigma-delta ADC was used, operating under the control of the CR controller. The station recorder contains a memory card drive (SDHC or SDXC), a controller, a real date-time system, and batteries. In addition, the recorder contains an acoustic modem for communicating the station with the deck telecommand device, and the station can also be equipped with an acoustic disconnector with a float and a drop anchor.
EFFECT: increasing the duration of continuous autonomous operation, measuring and recording all 3 components of the vibrational velocity, improving the quality of signal conversion and recording.
