FIELD: musical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed violin relates to violin related to bowed instruments, and has three strings, tuning - A and D of the first octave, G of minor octave. Violin is a collapsible musical instrument, the components of which are a neck, a resonator and a suspension. Neck is made of a wooden tube with a head-peg holder and a string holder installed in a special cutout in its lower part. Resonator is a glued cylindrical wooden structure. Sound-generating part of the violin is a suspension consisting of a soundboard and an oscillator, wherein the oscillator is glued into the soundboard slot and is reinforced with a stiffening rib. Soundboard rests on the resonator only at two points and is located at a distance of up to two mm from the resonator, bearing force is determined by tension of strings fixed to string holder, passing through holes of oscillator and tensioned by pegs. Suspension, which operates as an elastic spring, rests on the resonator only in two places and does not prevent it from forming a soft floating sound. Oscillator is located inside the resonator.
EFFECT: improved sound quality by means of a non-glued soundboard.
