SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of an aqueous extract of axillary bilberry fruits as an antioxidant agent. The use of an aqueous extract of axillary blueberry fruit Vaccinium axillare Nakai obtained by extracting crushed up to 3 mm axillary blueberry fruit Vaccinium axillare Nakai with water at a ratio of raw material to extractant 1:10 in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, followed by cooling to room temperature and filtering, as antioxidant agents.
EFFECT: above invention allows to expand the arsenal of herbal remedies that have an antioxidant effect under conditions of oxidative stress.
