FIELD: gas-saturated reservoirs.

SUBSTANCE: method for determining the porosity coefficient of gas-saturated reservoirs. Method uses a complex of geophysical well surveys (GWS) based on density (BDL) and neutron (NNL) logging diagrams, according to which the porosity coefficient is determined as the ratio of the difference between the density of the rock matrix and the density of the rock according to the data of GWS to the difference between the rock matrix density and the fluid density in the mud filtrate penetration zone (MFP). According to the invention, to take into account the effect of gas remaining in the drilling mud filtrate penetration zone, the fluid density in the mud filtrate penetration zone is determined by the dependence on the difference between the hydrogen content based on NNL and porosity based on BDL, calculated for water-saturated rocks.

EFFECT: method in accordance with the invention makes it possible to determine the porosity coefficient of gas-saturated reservoirs according to well logging data in exploratory and production wells, regardless of the presence of core and NML data for any wells.
