SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of materials for electrochemical devices, namely, solid oxide electrolyte materials with proton conductivity based on barium-neodymium indate (BaNd2In2O7), which can be used as an electrolyte material in proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells used to obtain electricity. An increase in the oxygen-ion and proton conductivity of a solid oxide electrolyte is a technical result that is achieved by synthesizing a material that is a barium-neodymium indate doped with barium that has the following formula of the composition Ba1.1Nd1.9In2O6.95 and is characterized by high values of proton conductivity at T<450°C and p H2O = 2⋅10−2 atm.

EFFECT: increase in the oxygen-ion and proton conductivity of a solid oxide electrolyte.
