FIELD: ventilation of plant material.

SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention lies in the fact that a material object in the form of a mound of plant materials is subjected to an air flow created by fans that force air into the mound, and devices and their hardware parts are used to ensure the operation of fans, fan control cabinets, actuators - electromagnetic contactors, temperature sensors, a wired form of communication, while setting at three different levels such parameters as: “maximum allowed fan operation time”, “minimum allowed fan downtime between switching on”, “turning on the fan when the minimum allowed temperature difference between raw material temperature and air temperature”, “minimum permitted raw material temperature”, upon reaching which the fan turns off, “maximum permitted temperature difference between the temperature of the raw material and air temperature”, upon reaching which the fan turns off.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of reducing the material consumption of the energy infrastructure and electric power during ventilated storage of plant materials, as well as increasing the safety of plant materials during storage.
