SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pest control agent used when planting potatoes, which is a carrier impregnated with an active substance, with at least one insecticide and/or a mixture consisting of at least one insecticide and at least one fungicide being used as the active ingredient. The media is made of biodegradable paper with a density of 25 to 40 g/m2 and a decomposition period of not more than 90 days. The carrier completely covers the potato tuber, taking its shape.
EFFECT: invention provides plant protection from pests during the entire ripening period.
