SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the inhibition of nitrification in soil, plants or soil substitutes. An alkoxypyrazole compound with formula I.3(ii)
I.3(ii)
or its salts, stereoisomer, tautomer or N-oxide is used as a nitrification inhibitor, where R1 and R2 represent CH3. The alkoxypyrazole compounds with formula I.3(ii) are used in a nitrification inhibition composition together with a suitable carrier. The alkoxypyrazole compound with formula I.3(ii) is used to treat fertilizers to inhibit nitrification.
EFFECT: proposed alkoxypyrazole compound with formula I.3(ii) has a high inhibitory activity and a reduced volatility.
