FIELD: wind energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to wind turbines with a vertical axis of rotation. Vertical wind turbine contains a base, traverses, wind collectors and a central post. The sides of the wind collectors, outer with respect to the axis of symmetry, are provided with rectangular flexible plates having a narrow strip and made with the possibility of opening when the wind flow approaches and approaching the symmetry axis of the wind collector when the wind collector moves against the flow. The plates are fastened to the wind collector along a narrow strip of the plate.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency due to deflection of the plates.
