FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder-piston group of an internal combustion engine with slot purge contains a cylinder (2) installed in the housing (1), in which purge and exhaust windows (3) and (4) are made, communicated with the corresponding channels. Purge and outlet windows (3) and (4) are located with the possibility of their overlapping by the outer cylindrical surface (6) of the piston (7) installed in the cylinder (2). The piston (7) is installed with the possibility of interaction of its outer cylindrical surface (6) with the inner surface (8) of the cylinder (2). The sealing means is located on the cylindrical surface (6) of the piston (7) and contacts with the inner surface (8) of the cylinder (2) with the possibility of limiting the communication of the outlet channel (5) with the under-piston cavity (15) formed in the engine housing (1). The sealing means is made in the form of a segment (9) of a cylindrical body installed in the segment cutout of the piston (7). Segment (9) is installed with the possibility of moving in the cutout relative to piston (7) and pressing segment (9) to inner surface (8) of cylinder (2) by means of elastic element (10).
EFFECT: simplified design and increased reliability of the sealing unit.
